We're a family run business based in Derbyshire, we make our collection of soaps and skin care by hand using natural ingredients and our own exclusive recipes.
Where we came from…
Living in a tiny cottage in the middle of nowhere inspired us to seek out a more holistic alternative to our hectic lifestyle. One of the things that gave us cause for concern was the amount of chemicals we were exposing ourselves to while carrying out every day tasks like cleaning the house and taking a shower. Throwing out everything that posed a potential hazard was the easy part, finding a genuine, natural alternative was a little more tricky. Not wanting to give up at the first hurdle, we came up with the crazy idea of making our own skin care.
After an extensive period of excitement, experimenting and mess beyond imagination we finally discovered the lost art of traditional soap making. Addiction soon took over and it wasn't long before every day was devoted to the discovery of new ingredients and the effects they had on our skin. The months slipped by and it wasn't until over a year later that we took a leap into the unknown and became Pure Thoughts.
Where we are now and where we're going…
Our journey so far has been an enjoyable challenge with lots of fun, laughter, tears and frustration along the way. Whilst our tiny cottage is a distant memory we're still as passionate as ever about our products. Holding true to our original beliefs we now make an indulgent, yet chemical free collection of bath, face and body products as well as 20 different varieties of natural soap. Without giving away too many secrets our future plans include new products and lots more space to make them in.
Over the years we've spent time building important relationships with our wholesale clients so that you can find Pure thoughts products in various stores and salons throughout the UK and Europe.
