Our journey lead us to discover that we were unknowingly exposing ourselves to chemicals (many linked to long term health issues) through the daily use of high street skin care products. Concerned, we began to look at the alternatives, much of what we found was either not genuine in it’s claim to be natural or vastly overpriced. As a self confessed "product junkie" a life full of bland beauty products was unthinkable and so the journey began to create our own. Discovering the traditional art of cold process soap making sparked our creativity and it wasn’t long before every day was devoted to exploring new ingredients and their effects on our skin. Our cupboards were suddenly full of little bags and bottles containing magical looking oils, flowers and herbs. Months slipped by - we enjoyed our successes and learnt from our mistakes until we had created a small range of products that we thought would be helpful to others seeking natural alternatives. It wasn’t until over a year later that Pure Thoughts was born. |

Years on... Whilst our tiny cottage is a distant memory - we’ve created lots more products along the way including facial care, bath treats and body moisturisers as well as 20 different soap bars. It’s a blessing to spend our days making and packaging our products for our customers and we plan on spending many more years doing it. What the future holds... Well, 2009 has already seen the creation of a new website and a brand new look for our products - on top of this we’ve also created a few new products. We’re always excited about the possibilities that the future may bring - right now we hope that it brings lots more space and plenty more happy customers. |
