| Essential Oils
Essential oils have been used to treat the mind and body for centuries. In todays fast paced world they seem to be needed more than ever. We use them in our products for their therapeutic properties and natural scents.
Chamomile (Roman) Essential Oil : A beautiful oil that has so many uses. Roman Chamomile has a long history and is known to help soothe the mind and body. It's one of the most gentle essential oils and so you'll often find it in products aimed at young or sensitive skin. We love to combine this oil with Lavender, so you'll find it in our Lavender & Chamomile natural soap and also our Body Butter Bar.
Lavender Essential Oil : One of the most loved and useful essential oils. It has a endless list of qualities. We use it for its beautiful scent and its ability to help us drift soundly off to sleep. We use this is so many of our products it would be impossible to list them all!
Rosemary Essential Oil : Known to stimulate the mind and body as well as help with muscular conditions. It has a wonderfully refreshing scent that combines well with many other essential oils. This oil blends so well with others that you'll find it in many of our products including our Rosemary and Mint natural soap and our Peppermint & Rosemary Bath Bomb .
Eucalyptus Essential Oil : A powerful oil perfect for all seasons, it helps to cool in the summer and protect in the winter. Widely known for its ability to help with coughs and colds, but it's natural antiseptic qualities have also been found to help conditions such as cystitis and sunburn. You'll find this oil in a few of our products including our Eucalyptus and Rosehip natural soap.
Peppermint Essential Oil : An uplifting oil that refreshes the senses, perfect for clearing your head after a hard day. It's qualities are known to be helpful to many skin conditions as well to headaches and migraines. Try this in our Peppermint Shea Butter Whip, Peppermint and Rosemary bath bomb and Peppermint & Orange natural soap.
Fennel Essential Oil : A powerful oil loved by many. It's scent is often mistaken for anise or liquorice. It's highly valued for its detoxifying and antiseptic properties, so that's why we use it in our Fennel & Mint foot butter bar and our Gardeners natural soap.
Lemon Essential Oil : A refreshing clean scent. It has antiseptic qualities and is known to have a positive effect on poor circulation. We love this oil and you'll find it in lots of our products.
Lime Essential Oil : A truly uplifting scent said to increase alertness in the mind and body. We use this oil in our Tea Tree & Lime natural soap and Lemon & Lime bath melt.
Orange Essential Oil : A cheerful oil that helps to raise a smile even on the dullest mornings. We love using this in our soap, you'll find it in several of our natural bars including Cinnamon and Sweet Orange, Honey and Oats and our best selling Patchouli and Orange bar.
Grapefruit Essential Oil : A tangy citrus scent that helps to wake the mind. Also said to have properties that can help with disperse toxins that cause cellulite. You'll find this oil in our Citrus and Oats natural soap.
Patchouli Essential Oil : A distinctive warm earthy scent that is said to help relieve stress. It is said to have cell regenerating properties making it ideal for aging skin. Another one of our favourite oils! We use it in some of our essential oil blends simply to anchor the blend into the product, however, if you're a lover of patchouli oil try our best selling Patchouli and Orange bar.
Geranium Essential Oil : A versatile oil that blends well with others. We use it for its floral fragrance and its relaxing properties. You'll find this in several of our products.
Sandalwood Essential Oil : A sweet woody scent with soothing qualities said to help with skin problems. Sandalwood has a following all of it's own, you'll find this oil in both our Sandalwood and Ylang Ylang bath melt and Rooibos Tea and Sandalwood natural soap.
