How do you ensure product quality?
To help us maintain our high product standards we produce our products in small batch sizes so that the highest level of attention can be paid to them. We keep batch records for all products made - this gives us the ability to trace the source of the ingredients in any particular batch.

Do you test on animals?
We do not test our products on animals or commission anyone else to do so on our behalf.

I have sensitive skin can I use your products?
Using natural ingredients helps us to produce gentle, effective soaps and skin care products that suit a wide variety of skin types. However, sensitive skin can be unpredictable and it's always advisable to conduct a patch test - simply use a small amount of product on your skin, leave it for at least 24 hours in order to assess your sensitivity before using the product further.

How long will your handmade natural soap last once opened?
Our soap bars are hard and long lasting because we cure them for least 4-6 weeks before wrapping them ready for sale. To help your bar last as long as possible we recommend that you allow it to dry between uses - you can do this by using a soap dish that allows excess water to drain or by standing the bar on its end so that air can circulate around it.

Does your soap keep longer if kept unwrapped?
Our soap is like fine wine, it matures with age and even when kept for a couple of years it will still be a pleasure to use but, to fully appreciate the natural scent and properties of the pure essential oils in every bar we recommend that you enjoy your soap within 6-12 months of purchase.

How do you fragrance and colour your products?
Although they are much more expensive we prefer to use only pure essential oils in our products - their natural properties add scent and therapeutic value to our products. To add natural colour and texture to our soap and skin care we use only herbs, spices, fruit and botanicals.

I am vegetarian/vegan can I use products?
We do not use animal fats in any of our products. A small amount of our soaps and skincare contain either honey or beeswax - in order to help you chose the right products for you we add a complete ingredients listing in plain English alongside every product.

I'm new to your products do you provide samples?
Although we don't send out free samples we do make a starter collection of trial sized products which is ideal for anyone new to our range - click here to take a look
