These laws apply to every company that manufactures cosmetics regardless of their size. The regulations are to protect you from buying something that could potentially cause damage.

The Cosmetics Products (Safety) Regulations 2004
In accordance with the above act:
- All of our products are tested and certified as safe by a qualified chemist
- Pure Thoughts is registered with the Department of Trade and Industry.
- Our labelling is clear, all of our products have full ingredients listings on them using their European INCI names. We believe that you should know what you are putting on your skin so we also include the English names of the ingredients on our labels.
- Every product you buy from us has a batch code, this is a unique number given to each batch of product that we make, this allows us to record and trace where every ingredient in your product originates from.
Pregnancy
Care should be taken when using essential oils during pregnancy. Please seek professional advice.
Nut Allergy
As some of our products contain nuts or nut oils there is always a small possibility that any one of our products may contain traces of nuts.
